A few days ago Becky Johnson visited the Etsy Labs in Brooklyn and gave a workshop on exploring offline markets and other alternative revenue sources. The workshop covered the ins and outs of the craft show scene as well as preparing your business for wholesale and consignment.
Becky Johnson is a crafty renaissance woman and raconteur. Not only does she run her own business, the sweetie pie press, but she also organizes Toronto’s largest independent juried craft show, City of Craft. She provides insight into the craft show world as both an organizer and attendee: in fact, Becky claims to have done more shows around the globe than any other crafter! She’s currently traveling the world thanks to her successful Kickstarter campaign.
