Beating the system: smart resourcing scenarios for small businesses

Moritz Grund will talk about the extra bit of creativity and flexibility that little start ups need to outsmart big corporations. Moritz works as a designer and writer on concepts of resource-intelligence and simplicity in Berlin. His latest book “onehundred” is a collection of notes about design along the experiment of reducing his whole belongings to one-hundred items.

 

About Moritz Grund

Moritz grew up in the south-west of Germany. After a stopover in Munich and Freiburg he studied Product-Design at the University of Arts (UdK) in Berlin. 2007 he was part of the interdisciplinary group that launched the “sustainable design forum | sdf” at the International Design Center in Berlin. Together with the designer Sebastian Feucht he founded the non-profit organization SUSTAINABLE DESIGN CENTER in spring 2009.
